Terms of Use

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Rambox, the operator of Foldwalls. By downloading, purchasing, activating, or using Foldwalls, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or services.

1. Eligibility and authority

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use Foldwalls for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization. Foldwalls is intended for use on compatible Mac computers.

2. App license

Subject to these terms, Foldwalls grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app for personal use or your own internal business use. You do not acquire ownership of the app, its code, branding, catalog, or bundled content.

A Foldwalls Pro purchase is a one-time license for the Pro version sold at checkout and may be activated on up to three personal Macs unless the product page or receipt expressly states otherwise. A license key is personal to the purchaser and may not be resold, shared publicly, sublicensed, or used to operate a license-sharing service.

3. Free and Pro features

The free app provides the features identified on the product page. A valid Pro license unlocks the Pro features offered at the time of purchase. We may improve, replace, or discontinue individual features when macOS, security requirements, providers, or technical dependencies change. A one-time license includes updates made available for that licensed product, but does not automatically include a separately sold future product unless we say so.

4. Updates and system access

Foldwalls may check for app updates and show an update prompt. Installing an update remains under your control. Wallpaper playback, local imports, music metadata, display control, and lock-screen behavior may require macOS permissions or supported system services. You are responsible for reviewing and granting only the permissions you choose to use.

5. Your media

You keep ownership of photos, videos, 3D files, and other media you import. You are responsible for having the rights needed to use that media as a wallpaper and for complying with applicable law. Foldwalls does not obtain a license to publish or redistribute locally imported media merely because you use it in the app.

6. Catalog and third-party content

Wallpapers, previews, music metadata, lyrics, artwork, trademarks, and links may come from Foldwalls or third parties. Unless a separate license expressly allows it, catalog content is provided for use within Foldwalls and may not be extracted, resold, redistributed, or used to train another service. Third-party content and services remain subject to their owners' rights, availability, and terms.

7. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Bypass activation limits, tamper with license checks, or share or resell license keys.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Interfere with the website, catalog, license service, downloads, updates, or another user's access.
• Use Foldwalls or its content to violate law, privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights.
• Redistribute bundled or downloaded content unless its separate license clearly allows it.

8. Purchases, taxes, and activation

Creem acts as merchant of record for Foldwalls Pro purchases. Creem handles checkout, payment processing, applicable indirect taxes, receipts, and payment-related administration. Your purchase is also subject to Creem's Buyer Terms shown during checkout. Prices and currency are displayed before you confirm payment.

A completed order normally generates a license key for activation. You are responsible for keeping that key secure and for providing an accurate email address at checkout. Contact support if a verified payment does not produce a working license.

9. Refunds

Refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy and any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you. An approved refund may deactivate the related Pro license.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the app, catalog, downloads, and license service available, but they may be interrupted for maintenance, security, provider outages, or circumstances beyond our control. Individual wallpapers and third-party integrations may change or become unavailable.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Foldwalls is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every Mac, display arrangement, file, media player, peripheral, or future macOS release. Back up important media and settings before changing your system. Nothing here excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rambox will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from Foldwalls. Our total liability relating to a paid license will not exceed the amount you paid for that license during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Foldwalls at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to online services or a license when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security risk, unlawful use, chargeback, refunded purchase, or a material breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect product, provider, security, or legal changes. The updated date will appear above. Material changes will be communicated in the app or on this website when appropriate. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms, except where law requires a different form of consent.
